Lysander (/laɪˈsændər, ˈlaɪˌsændər/; Greek: Λύσανδρος, translit. Lýsandros; died 395 BC) was a Spartan admiral (navarch) who commanded the Spartan fleet in the Hellespont. He defeated the Athenians at Aegospotami in 405 BC.
