Mission Santa Cruz Mission, the 12th mission, was built in 1791 and rebuilt in 1931. Mission Santa Cruz, part of Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park, features an unassuming structure, a circular water fountain and park grounds in a largely residential area. It is the second mission built.
