How long should I study for the CCRN?
Don’t give yourself more than 8-12 weeks to study. If you work more than 36 hours per week, maybe take a little longer. If you work less than that, maybe you have more time to prep each week and need less time before your exam date.
How hard is the CCRN exam 2020?
If you couldn’t tell by the sample questions, the CCRN exam is tough and should not be taken lightly. There are about 16,000 test-takers per year and the CCRN pass rate is only about 79%. The exam itself is 150 questions, with 25 of the questions not counted towards your test score.
Is getting your CCRN hard?
CRNA school is extremely difficult, but for those who are determined to become CRNAs, it can be done. The CRNA program is very intensive, as it’s a graduate level program. Students have to find a way to balance their coursework, studying, and clinical experiences so that they do well in CRNA school.
Can you get your CCRN in one year?
Requirements for the CCRN® exam If you’re working full time as a nurse, you’ll get that within your first year.
What if you fail CCRN?
Candidates may sit for the CCRN exam up to four times in a 12-month period. Candidates who do not pass the exam are eligible for a discounted retest fee, which is available until the exam is passed.
How to obtain a CCRN?
To obtain the CCRN certification, you must sign up for and take an examination administered at select testing facilities. This is all done through the AACN website. The cost to take the examination is $245 for current AACN members, and $360 for non-members.
