What is JDRF One Walk? Each year, JDRF One Walk brings together thousands of people across the country to change the future for everyone living with type 1 diabetes (T1D).
How does the JDRF walk work?
The JDRF One Walk is a fundraiser and we encourage you to work as a team, with everyone helping to raise money to continue funding the research to find a cure for T1D. Although there is no fundraising minimum, we encourage walkers and teams to show their support by fundraising or making a personal donation.

For every dollar that JDRF puts towards research, we pull in nearly $3.50 more. In fiscal year 2020, that totaled $506M: A 22% increase over the same figure for FY19 ($414.5M).
What is artificial pancreas technology?
The artificial pancreas, also known as closed-loop control, is an “all-in-one” diabetes management system that tracks blood glucose levels using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and automatically delivers the hormone insulin when needed using an insulin pump.
