Ravenholm is an Eastern European mining town depicted in Half-Life 2. The town was a hidden location housing refugees from City 17 until it was discovered and attacked by the Combine, using artillery shells filled with headcrabs. Consequently, the town was massacred and its survivors zombified by the headcrabs.

There’s one area called “Ravenholm” which is solely based around fighting headcrabs (small crab-like paracites that hop onto your head and try to control you), fast zombies, headcrab zombies, poison zombies and more. This is by far the scariest, goriest and most violent part of the game. (I rate this a 12+.)
