Our company 118d is a March 2006 with 48k miles on it and feels extremely tight still. I would call BMW and see when they last saw it. It may be worth paying a little more to service it at BMW, I found 1 series servicing really cheap, brake and oil was around £240 inclduing filters, plus it is back on the BMW system, so come resale if someone does some homework that could help get the best price for her car.
