The Museum of Science is located at 1 Science Park in Boston and is a fun and interactive museum for all ages. Admission to the exhibits at the Museum of Science is regularly $29 for ages 12+, $25 for ages 60+, and $24 for ages 3-11. Children under 3 are free.

Are backpacks allowed in museums?

Smaller backpacks and bags are permitted, at the discretion of the museum’s security officers, if they are hand-carried. Backpacks may not be worn on the back, but must be carried on the side, under the arm, or on the front of the body. These limitations help us protect the artworks from accidental damage.

The Boston Museum of Natural History of 1830/1864–1945 should not be confused with the private Warren Museum of Natural History (1858–1906, formerly on Chestnut Street in Boston). The contents of the latter collection, including the first intact mastodon, were relocated to the American Museum of Natural History of New York City in 1906.
