- Blocking will save your life against Liquid’s heaviest punches and strikes.
- When using CQC, be quick on the buttons or you’ll get hammered.
Does Ocelot like snake?
While Snake neutralized the Ocelot Unit, Ocelot himself captured EVA and held her at knife point, brandishing his new revolver at Snake. However, having apparently misspent his ammunition, due to SAA carrying fewer rounds than he was used to, Ocelot was roundly defeated.

In the end, it is revealed that Liquid’s arm did not take over Ocelot’s body at all. Ocelot was not possessed, but instead used a cocktail of drugs, nanomachines, and hypnosis to create an alternate personality. He then allowed Liquid’s psyche to fully take over, embracing the new personality of Liquid Ocelot.

- Use L1 to block Liquid’s attacks if he gets close.
- While blocking you can press R1 for a strong punch, it will hit Liquid off his feet but not that much damage and is a good guard break if a normal combo follows after.
How do you beat Liquid Snake?
Liquid’s attacks become stronger over the course of the battle, so stick to hit and run tactics in order to wear him down. Once Liquid Snake is extremely low on health, wait for him to go near the edge of Metal Gear Rex and go in for a strike. This should boot him off the edge and into the void.
Why does Ocelot join snake?
He wanted to see if he was worthy of the title “Snake”, and was true to the legend that Big Boss was. Since Snake defeated Big Boss twice, Ocelot must have hated him at some point so it makes sense that he fights Snake. Besides he had to fight Snake to keep his cover as a foxhound member.
