Producers and trainers often like an arena to be 250 to 325 feet long. For most arena widths, 120 to 150 feet is appropriate, however size will vary to the roper’s personal preference.

Our Roping Boxes allows you to easily adjust barrier from 16′ to 22′ deep in seconds. The feet along the side of the roping box are designed to be set 10” below ground level, so no concrete is required for installation.

Red River Arena’s all galvanized calf roping chutes are designed to let the calf roper have a smooth, easy practice. Red River Arena’s calf roping chute is constructed from 14 gauge 1″ galvanized square tubing and 14 gauge galvanized sheet metal.
What size is the Calf Lane at Red River?
The 70′ x 240′ Calf lane features a return on the left side of the arena. This arena comes with the CRC200 and the CRC200E, as well as, all of the panels and gates. The arena comes with panels for the heel box area, but Red River’s heavy-duty roping box can be added on as an upgrade.
