Glentress Family Pass Up to 16 uplifts in a day for Mums, Dads and children under 16. Both parents do not need to ride as the uplifts are per person.
Can you mountain bike up Ben Nevis?
Snowdon’s summit is at 1085 metres above sea level, and took us 2.5 hours to climb on mountain bikes, up the Ranger’s path (which starts around 50m above sea level). Ben Nevis is 1344 metres above sea level.
Can you cycle up Nevis Range?
Mountain biking is a hazardous sport. Tracks at Nevis Range with gondola uplift are extremely steep & difficult in places. You can cycle on any of the cross country tracks in the forest. On the mountain you may only cycle on the designated downhill and red track.

Good news – with an uplift ticket you simply chuck your bike onto the back of a trailer or hook it onto the chairlift of gondola and get yourself comfy until you reach the top again. Think of it as a ski-lift for bikes.
How long is the uplift at Bike Park Wales?
You’ll get two uplifts to the top of the mountain with a riding host who will give you tips and guide you through the whole experience – and there will never be more than six other riders with your host. Each session is 4 hours long, so you’ll get plenty of riding time.
Can you ride down Ben Nevis?
In short, you can do it, but there’s far better riding nearby, and if you just want to get to the top, the CMD is a far better route. I reckon it’s a mountain best served cold, preferably with crampons/axe/skis/board. I went up Ben Nevis yesterday and was looking at the potential for biking down it.

Do you have to wear a full face at BikePark Wales?
We also strongly advise you wear a full face helmet, eye protection, gloves and body armour. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A HELMET YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE IN THE PARK OR USE THE UPLIFT SERVICE.
Is BPW open?
The park will be open every week Friday through to Sunday and all of our services will be open and available each day.
